The Egg Collector’s Dozen is built around a different goal: can the daughters lay beautiful eggs too?

These hatching eggs come from breeding lines we’ve spent years selecting for pigment intensity, heavy blooms, and dramatic speckles—all while maintaining productivity and the other traits that make a chicken a valuable member of your flock.

The result is a collection of some of the most interesting eggs produced at Wild Type Hatchery—chosen not only because they look good in photos, but because we’re developing lines that make those traits repeatable generation after generation.
